Dr. Connor Keating was born and raised in North Prairie, WI where he graduated from Kettle Moraine High School. Growing up, he was a very active athlete where he excelled in both baseball, and volleyball. He spent five years playing collegiate Baseball at Wayne State College in Nebraska. To this day he continues to partake in different leagues throughout the Lake Country community, as well as competitive tournaments around the state!
Following his time at Wayne State, he continued his education at Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa. He spent the first two and a half years post graduation working for Traub Chiropractic Care Center in Oconomowoc where he learned about patient care, as well as the inner workings of a clinic. Dr. Keating is well versed in the “Palmer Package”. This package is a set of adjusting tools that help best equip chiropractors with what they need to help with the majority of all spinal problems.These techniques include; Diversified, Gonstead, Thompson, and Activator. He also focuses on different adjustments,flexion distraction, muscle trigger points, proper nutrition, and different exercises to reach optimal function for all of his patients.
Dr. Keating was drawn to the Sports Rehabilitation Department while attending Palmer. He spent several trimesters studying muscle function, biomechanical changes, and imbalances that are often found in most acute injuries. He understands first hand the toll an athlete’s body takes, and makes it his mission to ensure all of his patients work toward a pain-free lifestyle.
At Encompass, Dr. Keating’s philosophy revolves around the three P’s; Prevention, Performance, and Pain-free living. Whether it’s an adjustment, lifestyle, or nutritional change; Dr. Keating’s number one goal is to put his patients wellbeing and recovery first and foremost!
